October 27 Morrison Police Report

Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, October 27, 2017.

Arrests:  On Monday, October 30, 2017, at approximately 7:50 p.m., Morrison Police received a call of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Sullivan’s Foods, Morrison, IL.  Morrison Police responded and, as a result of the investigation, arrested John H. Cooper, age 41 of Clinton, IA, charging Cooper with Possession of Methamphetamines (Less Than 5 Grams).  Cooper was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

On Saturday, November 4, 2017, at approximately 9:12 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Nathan Q. Sandell, age 26 of Morrison, IL.  The traffic stop was conducted at E. Lincolnway and N. Clinton Street and was for an equipment violation.  As the result of the investigation during the traffic stop, Sandell was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended and Possession of Methamphetamines (Less Than 5 Grams).  A passenger in the vehicle, Kelly L. McCrary, age 43 of Morrison, was also arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamines (Less Than 5 Grams).  Both Sandell and McCrary were transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
