On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, Morrison, IL, Police Chief Brian Melton reported that, “Today, as a result of the adoption of an amended City Ordinance, the City of Morrison has removed the stop signs on Heaton Street, at the intersections of W. Morris and W. Wall Streets.”
“Traffic on Heaton Street no longer stops at these two intersections. Please be alert, and drive safely in this area [while] our community adapts to this change.”
