Charges listed below are accusations, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
August 19, 2017, at 2:42 a.m. Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash on IL Route 40 just north of Fulfs Road. It was determined Douglas M. Strehlow, 43, of Milledgeville, IL, was traveling south on IL Route 40, when he crossed the center line and collided with a northbound vehicle, driven by Summer D. Harmon, 40, of Sterling, IL. Harmon was extricated from her vehicle and flown to Rockford Memorial Hospital . Strehlow was transported to CGH Medical Center, where he suffered minor injuries. Strehlow was cited for improper lane usage. Additional charges are pending further investigation.
