Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Saturday, July 29, 2017.
Arrests: On Friday, August 4, 2017, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Morrison Police received a call of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Shell Express Lane, 651 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. As Morrison Police arrived in the area of the complaint, the suspicious vehicle traveled eastbound on Lincolnway. Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on the suspicious vehicle on U. S. Route 30 at Lyndon Road. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested John W. Kovacs, age 58 of Schiller Park, IL, charging Kovacs with Driving While License Revoked, No Valid Registration, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Kovacs was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
