8-13-17 at 7:25 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in Rock Falls, IL. Upon further investigation, Tiffany A. Martinez, age 39 of Rock Falls, was arrested for Failure to Signal and two counts of Driving Under the Influence. Tiffany was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where she was processed and released with a Notice to Appear.
8-13-17 at 2:00 a.m. Andrias R. Smith, age 21 of Morrison, IL, was stopped on U. S.Route 30 west of Morrison for speeding 80/55 MPH. He was arrested for two counts of DUI and Speeding 80/55 MPH, processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, and released on bond, with a future court date of September 13, 2017. Morrison Police and Rick’s Towing assisted on scene.
8-12-17 at 12:35 a.m. Gage M. Engelkens, age 21 of Camanche, IA, was arrested on IL Route 84 near the Union Pacific Railroad, for Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (10 to 30 grams), Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Driving While License Suspended. He was transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, processed, and released on bond, pending a future court date. Fulton Police and Midwest Towing assisted on scene.
8-07-17 at 3:26 p.m. At the intersection of U.S. Route 30 and Lawrence Road, Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, due to the registered owner having a revoked Illinois Driver’s License. During the investigation of the stop, Donald W. Johnson, age 40 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for Driving While License Revoked. He was transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and released on a Noticed to Appear. Assisting on scene was Williams’s Towing out of Rock Falls.
8-2-17 at 7:18 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies were called to a disturbance in the rural Fulton, IL, area. Upon further investigation, Merle D. Stage, age 55 of Fulton, was arrested for Aggravated Kidnapping, three counts of Kidnapping, Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Domestic Battery, Domestic Battery, and Unlawful Restraint. Stage was transported to the Whiteside County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Lee County/Dixon Police SWAT, and Illinois State Police Crime Scene assisted on scene.
7-29-17 at 2:30 a.m. Alicia J. McGee, age 20 of Lombard, IL, was stopped for speeding on U. S.Route 30 west of Morrison, IL. She was arrested for Speeding 84/55 MPH and DUI – Drugs. McGee was processed at the Whiteside County Jail and released on bond, pending results from the Illinois State Crime Lab. Fulton Police and Midwest Towing assisted on scene.
7-29-17 at 8:10 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in rural Sterling, IL. Upon further investigation, Andrew J. Sucher, age 25 of Sterling, was arrested for two counts of Domestic Battery, Aggravated Battery to a Child, and Interfering with Reporting Domestic Violence. Sucher was transported to the Whiteside County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
