Marjorie M. Brandt, age 95, of Sterling, IL, died Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Regency Care of Sterling.
Marjorie was born August 22, 1921, in Genesee Township, the daughter of Homer and Eva (Wagner) Stinemyer. She married Elwin Brandt on December 2, 1939, in Clinton, IA. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2012. Marjorie was a member of First Christian Church in Rock Falls, IL, and the Sterling Moose Family Center. She enjoyed dancing and playing cards.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy (Chuck) Brokaw of San Tan Valley, AZ; one son, Keith (Tamara Holcomb) Brandt of Morrison, IL; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., at the McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue, in Rock Falls, IL.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home, with Reverend Jeanette Larsen of First Christian Church in Rock Falls, IL, officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, IL.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to First Christian Church in Rock Falls, IL.
