The second annual Kunes Country Auto Group of Morrison Car Show was held Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 627 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. Vehicles were displayed on the lot from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Classics, street rods, vintage models, and attractive painted vehicles were welcomed. Jambalaya was served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Manager Bill Bart reported, “This is our second year. There were not as many entries this year, but there were more people. Camanche[, IA,] moved their show to this weekend.”
“We’ve done fairly well, and we’ve sold a couple cars today. This is more of a community event and car show this weekend,” he noted.
At 1:30, trophies in four categories were awarded by Bill Bart, center in the following photos, and Ron Weimer, at right.
Best Engine was awarded to Joe Ludwig of Rock Falls, IL.
