5-25-17 at 1:49 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 88 near Lyndon, IL. Upon further investigation, Shawn M. Keegan, age 44 of Bettendorf, IA, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Keegan was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and released with a Notice to Appear. The Illinois State Police and Hunter’s Towing assisted on scene.
5-30-17 at 2:41 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in rural Morrison, IL. Upon further investigation, four juvenile females, ages 16, 16, 17, and 17, were arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. All were transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, where they were released to their parents.
6-08-17 at 12:39 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Lawrence Road near the intersection of Deer Run in rural Sterling, IL. During the investigation of the stop Michael T. Young, age 51 of Sterling, was arrested for Failure to Use Turn Signal When Required and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Young was transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, where he was processed and released on a Notice to Appear. Assisting on scene was Rock Falls Police, Illinois State Police, and Slim and Hank’s Towing out of Sterling.
6-8-17 at 5:25 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in rural Sterling, IL. Upon further investigation, Christine R. Doyle, age 24 of Dixon, IL, was arrested for speeding 78 MPH in a 55 MPH zone and Driving While License Suspended. Doyle was later released on scene with a Notice to Appear. 6-8-17 at 8:49 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop within the Sterling, IL, City limits. Upon further investigation, Kristophur S. Johnson, age 21 or Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for an outstanding Lee County Warrant and Disobeying a Traffic Control Device. Johnson was bonded on scene and released.
6-17-17 at 1:28 a.m. Rodney B. Phelps, age 50 of Prophetstown, IL, was stopped for Improper Driving on Shoulder on IL Route 78 and Moline Road, rural Lyndon, IL. He was arrested for Improper Driving on Shoulder and two counts of DUI, processed at the Whiteside County Jail, and released on bond. Todd’s Towing assisted on scene.
6-17-17 at 4:10 a.m. A traffic stop in Lyndon, IL, by Whiteside County Deputies resulted in various arrests. Coty L. Scott, age 24 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for Failure to Signal When Required, DUI – Cannabis, and cited for Civil Possession of Cannabis. A passenger in the vehicle, Reilly M. Kelly, age 19 of Amboy, IL, was arrested on a Lee County Warrant for Contempt plus cited for Civil Possession of Cannabis and Civil Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were processed at the Whiteside County Jail and released on bond. Rick’s Towing assisted on scene.
6-18-17 at 1:33 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover near the intersection of W. Lincolnway and Galt Road. Upon further investigation, Gary F. Sinderman, age 32 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for two counts of Improper Lane usage, Driving Too Fast for Conditions, Failure to Report a Property Damage Accident, and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident. Sinderman was processed and released with a Notice to Appear. The Sterling Police Department, Sterling Fire Department, and Williams Towing Assisted on scene.
6-19-17 at 12:50 a.m. Daniela L. Garza, age 26 of Sterling, IL, was stopped in Sterling for a stop sign violation. She was arrested for Disobeying a Stop Sign and DUI, processed at the Sterling Police Department, and released on bond, pending a future court date. Williams Towing assisted on scene.
6-19-17 at 4:35 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle roll-over crash on Mathew Road near Blue Goose Road. A vehicle driver was transported to CGH for treatment by MCH EMS. Deputies were assisted on scene by Morrison Police, MCH EMS, Morrison Fire, and Hunter’s Towing.
6-17-17 at 2:25 p.m. Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Anderson Road just west of Pryor Road in rural Albany, IL. The driver of the vehicle, Hunter M. Wright, 18, of Davenport, IA, and four female juveniles were traveling westbound on Anderson Road, when the driver lost control. All of the occupants were transported by ambulance for treatment. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Albany Fire/EMS, Erie EMS, Fulton EMS, and Erie Police Department.
6-17-17 at 4:54 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to a single-car accident at the intersection of W. 4th Street and East Avenue in rural Sterling, IL. The driver of the vehicle, Michael S. Katzman, age 27 of Sterling, was transported to CGH Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Upon further investigation, Katzman was issued citations for Improper Lane usage, Improper Turn, and Driving Under the Influence. Katzman was released on a Notice to Appear.
