Michael T. Wade, 56 of Sterling, IL, died Friday June 16, 2017, at his home.
He was born on September 30, 1960, in Sterling, the son of William Hart and Judith Ann Fry. He married LeAnne Waters on October 4, 1983. Mike was employed by the Whiteside County Sherriff’s Department as a telecommunicator for 20 years, retiring in 2012. He served in the U. S. Air Force from October 30, 1979, to January 8, 1982.
Survivors include his wife; his father, William Hart of Monmouth, IL; his mother, Judith Fry of Rock Falls, IL; daughter, Erin Kindle (Ritchie Quigg) of Sterling; sons, Joey Sharp of Waco, TX, Seth Wade and Cole Wade of Sterling; his sisters, Jo-Lea Hart Coffman of Morrison, IL, Jeanette Jones and Paula Baldwin both of Rock Falls; his brothers, Bill Hart, Jr., Rob Jones, Jr. of Rock Falls, and Shawn Fry of Arkansas; ten grandchildren; nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Michael was preceded in death by his step-father; one brother; grandparents; his father- and mother-in-law; special nephew; special sister-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, from noon to 1:30 p.m., at the McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls, IL.
The funeral will follow at 1:30 p.m. Military honors will conclude the services.
