RyanNeumannAre you looking for a locally handcrafted Father’s Day gift that will be of use for years?  Consider the six-bottle caddie held by hobbyist Ryan Neumann, Morrison, IL.  The handy opener will never be lost.  It travels well in the car or boat, to picnics or back yards.  Condiment bottles, eating utensils, or napkins could be conveyed also.

On Saturday, June 10, 2017, Neumann displayed his custom woodwork at the Farmers’ Market for the first time.  For over 20 years he has designed wooden pieces as a hobby.  Chelsea Stuart, Market Co-Chair, convinced him to sell them.

Several pieces were designed to hold bottles–either singly or for two dozen.  He displayed two finishes on the wine bottle and glass holder shelf units.  This original design holds six of each.

“Most pieces are of oak, some are reclaimed oak, and some are pine,” he noted.

He also brought

  • serving trays in three finishes
  • trinket boxes with turned lids
  • small catch-all bowls to corral change, watches, jewelry, candy, or keys.

Neumann does custom woodwork.  He listed cabinetry, tables built-ins, desks, casework, and accessories.  Contact him at 515-240-2458 or www.facebook.com/ryans.custom.woodworks1.
