On Monday morning, May 29, 2017, the Morrison Fillies Softball team outscored Rockridge by a score of 9 to 6 and secured a berth at the State Tournament. The girls played in the Class 2A Super-Sectional round at Illinois Central College in East Peoria, IL. The fantastic Fillies will face 7th-ranked Beecher at the EastSide Centre, in Peoria, on Friday, June 2, at 5:30 p.m.
Shortstop Jaeden Workman shone with two home runs, garnering five of the the Fillies’ nine RBI’s. She is shown about to connect for her second home run, that drove in three runs during the second inning.
