Francis Irene Gracey, age 87, died Monday, May 22, 2017, at Alpine Fireside Nursing Home, Rockford, IL.
Francis was born on February 8, 1930, in Lisbon, IA, the daughter of Karl and Ethel Ann (Powdell) Miller. She married James Gracey on September 7, 1977, in Huntsville, TX. He preceded her in death in 1993. Francis was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda (David) Bond of Poplar Grove, IL, Joyce Van Horn of Morrison, IL, and Mary Madonia of Houston, TX; one son, Clifford (Kim) Hansen of Sterling, IL; one step-son, Harold (Isabela) Hansen of Sterling; two sisters, Colleen Sullivan of Worland, WY, and Joan Miller of Des Moines, IA; five brothers, Frank Miller of Korea, Douglas Miller and Winston Miller both of Basin, WY, Tommy Miller and John Miller both of Montana; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four sisters, Florence Miller, Ruth Miller, Martha Miller, and Helen Larkey; one brother, Charles Miller.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, IL.
A memorial has been established to Hospice Care of America in Rockford, IL.
