The Morrison Community Hospital, 303 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL, joined students from Morrison Northside School to celebrate National Star Wars Day, “May the 4th (force) be with you.” Pictured here is our biggest Star Wars fan, General Surgeon Dr. Khawaja along with some of his Star Wars characters and the kindergarten students.
Our staff enjoyed treating the students to our lab. They
- held a bag of blood
- viewed images from X-rays and CT’s
- climbed into the ambulance
- helped Dan, the physical therapist, with exercises for older people
- devoured delicious cookies in our Café.
One lucky young lady had a real cast applied on her leg by Podiatrist Dr. Williams. She healed so quickly, the cast was removed within minutes!
All of the children were invited to return to our annual Doll and Bear Clinic, to be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Kids can bring in their favorite doll or stuffed animal and have it treated in our clinic. They can also get into the ambulance and the Mediflight Helicopter.
