Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Morrison’s Heritage Museum is located at 202 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. The building has a storied history, first as an 1865 Congregational Church; second as a meeting site for the Scientific and Literary Society; third as Odell Public Library. If you have not been inside the building since the library moved to its new home–in the summer of 1995–please know that you are “overdue.” All overdue book fines have been forgiven.
The Opening Day program is a return engagement by Morrison Music Theatre Association (MMTA.) You will meet the following late residents: Eunice Abbott (actor CAROL JANVRIN); Clara Kimmel (CAROLYN AIKEN); Robert Millikan (ERIC PHEND); William Pleasant (KIM MEYERS); John Renkes (EDWIN DAVIS); Mary Robertson (CONNIE SWANSON-DESPAIN); Ferdinand Trautwein (KRAIG SCHWEISS.)
