Improvement to the Odell Public Library

Posted by

PuppetStageThe April campaign to transform Odell Public Library’s Children’s Department is off to a great start!  A Thrivent Action Team project proposal written, by Barb Peterson, provided seed money for a puppet theater and several new puppets.

Lorna Temple, left, made the curtain for the puppet theater.

Glenn Peterson, built the theater.

Katie Rider is Children’s Librarian.  She designed the theater, with the help of library staff and the builder, and also selected the puppets.

During the month of April 2017, in celebration of National Library Week, please help Odell continue to update the Children’s Department.  Monetary gifts will be used to purchase children’s books.

Patrons may also shop for the library by choosing an item from the Supply Wish List or from one of the four Amazon Wish Lists:  http://a.co/4HVsEyh.

Please call or visit your community library to find out more, at 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
