3-7-17 at 5:51 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies were called to a one-vehicle accident on W. Lincolnway in rural Sterling, IL. Upon further investigation, Jason S. Brown, age 41 of Polo, IL, was arrested for Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence. Brown was transported to CGH Medical Center for treatment. Sterling Fire Department, CGH EMS, and Illinois State Police assisted on scene. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Slim and Hank’s.
3-11-17 at 1:15 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Dixon Avenue in the city of Rock Falls, IL. Upon further investigation, Amanda M. Cox-Rodriguez, age 21 of Sterling, IL, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Cox-Rodriguez was taken to Rock Falls Police Department, where she was processed and released on an I-Bond. A passenger of the vehicle, Zachary M. Maronde, age 21 of Rock Falls, was arrested on an outstanding Whiteside County Warrant, taken to the Whiteside County Jail, and held in lieu of bond.
3-11-17 at 6:58 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies arrested Holden D. Kessel, age 19 of Lyndon, IL, on two outstanding Whiteside County Warrants and a Henry County Warrant. Kessel was transported to the Whiteside County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
