March 12 Sheriff’s Office Report

These arrests are merely a charge, and he/she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

3-6-17 at 7:52 a.m.  Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop within the village limits of Erie, IL. Upon further investigation, Nathan W. Oney, age 35 of Erie, was arrested for Driving While License Revoked. Once in custody, Oney was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear. Todd’s Towing assisted on scene.

3-11-17 at 10:56 a.m.  Albert M. Cook, age 20 of Prophetstown, IL, was arrested for Speeding and Driving While License Suspended, following a traffic stop on Freeport Road north of Sterling, IL. Cook was processed at the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office and released on bond. Slim-n-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.

On 3-11-17 at 3:20 p.m. a Whiteside County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on U. S. Route 30 near the intersection of Melvin Road for a stop sign violation. During the investigation of the stop, the driver, Troy Sucher, 28 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for the Disobeying a Stop Sign and Driving While License Revoked. Sucher was transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, where he was processed and released on a Notice to Appear. Assisting on scene was Slim-N-Hank’s Towing out of Sterling, IL.

3-11-17 at 3:46 p.m.  Catalina C. Reed, age 22 of Sterling, IL, was arrested for speeding 81/55 MPH on U. S. Route 30 at Millard Road. She was released on bond pending a future court date.
