Posted by

MaryFonsHeadOn Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Mary Fons will present “The Quilt:  America’s Greatest Creative Legacy,” at Ebenezer Reformed Church, 309 E. Park Street, Morrison, IL.  Please note the date change, and tell your friends, so they do not miss this exciting event.

Ebenezer Reformed Church is one block south of Odell Public Library, which is sponsoring the program.

Parking in back of the church and using the back entrance will provide easy access to an elevator.

Mary Fons–accomplished quilter, teacher, writer, and co-host of “Love of Quilting” on public television–will deliver a dynamic lecture about the history of the American quilt.  She will share beautiful images of quilts representing a wide variety of styles and traditions, spanning the history of quilting in the United States.  A question-and-answer session will follow.

This free program is made possible by a grant from the Illinois Humanities Council.

Many people have expressed interest in this outstanding program.  To help us plan for the event, reservations are strongly encouraged, but not required.
