Jeffrey R. Wolf, age 60 of Sterling, IL, died Friday, March 3, 2017 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.
Jeff was born on November 25, 1956, in Rock Falls, IL, the son of Walter George and Millicent Louise (Harris) Wolf. He graduated from Rock Falls High School in 1974, then began working for the Local #25 as a pipefitter in November of 1979, retiring in May 2011. He married Kathy Peve on June 26, 2010, in Sterling. Jeff was an avid slot car and drag racing enthusiast. He enjoyed going to Cordova for the races and camping. He was a wonderful and knowledgeable welder. He enjoyed spending time in his garage with friends working on little projects. He loved his dog, Bo. Jeff had a great support system with his family and friends who were always willing to help him out in times of need. He was loved by all and will be missed.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; his daughter, Sheila (Jeremy) Udell of Rock Falls; his two sons, Mitch Wolf of Rock Falls and Monty Wolf of Rock Falls; his step-daughter, Jeri (Eric) Entwistle of La Clair, IA; one sister, Lynda (Wayne) Endress of Morrison, IL; one brother, Nate Wolf of Prophetstown, IL; two granddaughters, Nicolette Udell and Maddie Smithers; one grandson, Braidyn Udell; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roger Wolf.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be established in his memory.
