Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and itations issued since Friday, February 10, 2017.
Arrests: On Saturday, February 11, 2017, at approximately 3:15 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Eric S. Lowery, age 35 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Lowery with Residential Burglary and an Order of Commitment issued by Whiteside County. Lowery was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Morrison Police received a report of a domestic dispute at 509 S. Cherry Street, Morrison, IL. As a result of the investigation, Michael A. Vegter, age 23 of Morrison, was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery. Vegter was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
