Morrison Farmers’ Market is seeking a highly motivated manager, to organize vendors and supervise the Saturday market.  Unless a manager can be found, there will not be an organized Morrison Farmers’ Market this summer.  This is a volunteer position requiring about five hours of work per week.

He/She must have good organizational skills and be reliable, friendly, and self-motivated.  Experience with electronic media and marketing is also a plus.

Market managers oversee the operation of the farmers market on Saturday mornings. Duties can be shared with a co-manager on a scheduled or substitute basis.

Additional committee members and weekly volunteers are also needed, to assist in the operation of the market, distribute forms, and help with the collection of payments from farmers, vendors, and crafters.  Volunteers are usually scheduled one or more Saturdays per month.

If interested in the manager position or to help as a co-manager, please join current volunteers for a planning meeting at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2017, in the Community Room at the Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
