Early Voting and Vote by Mail Begin February 23

us flagDana Nelson, Whiteside County Clerk, announces Early Voting and Vote by Mail for the Tuesday, April 4, 2017, General Election. 

Any valid registered voter in Whiteside County may vote during the early voting period.  However, any vote cast is final and may not be revoked; the voter is not eligible to cast a vote on election day.

Early voting will be conducted at the Whiteside County Courthouse, 200 E. Knox Street, Morrison, IL, on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., beginning on Thursday, February 23, and ending on Monday, April 3. There will be early voting on Saturday, April 1, from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

Early voting will be available on a limited basis in Sterling, IL, for all Whiteside County Precincts, at the Eastern Branch Court Facility, 101 E. Third Street. The dates and times for voting in Sterling are Wednesday, March 22; Thursday, March 23; Friday, March 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In order to vote by mail, contact the Clerk’s office to receive an application. Once the completed application is received by the Clerk, no later than Thursday, March 30, 2017, a ballot will be mailed to the voter.
