Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, January 20, 2017.
Arrests: On Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Morrison Police responded to 404 W. Wall Street in Morrison, IL, regarding a female juvenile, age 13, who had not returned home. Upon further investigation, Morrison Police located the female juvenile and discovered four female juveniles were involved in a fight at Water Works Park, W. Winfield Street, Morrison. As a result, Morrison Police charged three female juveniles (ages 12, 13, and 13) all of Morrison, with Public Fighting (Ordinance Violation). The victim was a female juvenile, age 15 of Morrison as well. The fine for Public Fighting is $500.
