January 18 Windmill Cultural Center: Photography

KeithRiewertsThe Volunteer Educators at the Windmill Cultural Center in Fulton, IL, invite the public to attend the next program of the season. The January 18, 2017, Wild Winter Wednesdays at the Windmill Cultural Center will teach guests how to take cell phone photographs. The public is invited to gather at 9:00 a.m. for coffee, tea, and refreshments. The program begins at 9:15.

The building, 111 10th Avenue, Fulton, is accessible to people with disabilities. The program is funded through a grant from the Fulton Association for Community Enrichment (FACE).

Keith Riewerts will present “Cell Phone Photography 101.” Riewerts grew up near Fenton, IL, and finished high school in Erie, IL. He attended Western Illinois University for a BS in Biology and the University of Northern Iowa for his MA. He taught in Davenport, IA.

He and his wife live near Long Grove, IA, and have a passion for gardening and photography.

A new feature each week will be the addition of bread for sale by Krumpets Bakery. Guests will be able to purchase bread made with de Immigrant flour at the Windmill Cultural Center.

WWW@WCC programs are held on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. from December to the end of March. Programs are free and open to the public.
