Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Thursday, December 29, 2016.
Arrests: On Thursday, December 29, 2016, Morrison Police arrested Aaron T. Swanson, age 39 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Swanson with Failure to Appear – Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Swanson was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Thursday, January 12, 2017, Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Gina M. Ellis, age 30 of Lyndon, IL, on E. Lincolnway at N. Clinton Street in Morrison, IL, due to a driving complaint. As a result of the investigation during the traffic stop, Ellis was arrested pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Ellis with Failure to Appear – No Valid Driver’s License. Ellis was additionally charged with No Valid Driver’s License. Ellis was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
