On Monday, December 19, 2016, four members of The American Legion Post #328 in Morrison, IL, delivered Christmas gifts to infirm veterans of the three Morrison nursing homes. The visits were part of the Gifts to the Yanks program (http://giftstotheyanks.org/.) Recipients need not be a Legionnaire.
Twenty-four gift packages were delivered to veterans at Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Resthave Home, and Windsor Manor.
Pictured left-to-right are Commander Dale Usterbowski, Legion Life Member Joe Klimson, and Adjutant Ken Petersen. Klimson resides in Resthave Home. He has been a life member of Post #328 for well over forty years.
