Throughout the day Saturday, December 3, 2016, the public is invited to place silent auction bids on a collection of handcrafted snowmen, who are on display at Wells Fargo Bank NA,100 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL. The starting bids open at $20 for this Chamber of Commerce fundraiser. Bidding continues until 7:30 p.m. Monies will enable future community events.
“Your participation will help illuminate the holiday season in a special way for the Morrison community,” stated Katie Selburg.
Winning bidders will be contacted and can pick up and pay for their snowmen following the Christmas Walk or at the Morrison Chamber of Commerce, 221 W. Main Street, beginning Tuesday, December 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
