Wilma A. Trouth, 94, Dixon, IL, died, Thursday, December 1, 2016, at KSB Medical Center, Dixon.
Wilma was born September 16, 1922, in Javer, Germany, the daughter of Anton B. and Ida (Bruns) Koester. She married Robert Lee Trouth on November 30, 1944, in Sterling, IL, at Messiah Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1976. Wilma was a homemaker for most of her adult life.
Survivors include three daughters, Darlene (Ricky) Smith of Morrison, IL, Bonnie Lee Trouth of Amboy, IL, and Sharon Ann (Roger) Lemke of Dekalb, IL; one son, Darell (Debbie) Trouth of Champaign, IL; one sister, Irene Ahrens of Rock Falls, IL; one brother, Wesley (Margaret) Koester of Waterman, IL; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorthea Helms, and one brother in infancy.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rock Falls, IL, with Reverend Daniel Behmlander, Pastor, officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling, IL.
A memorial has been established to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rock Falls, IL, and The Lutheran Hour.
