Start the Christmas season this weekend. For the first time, Woodlawn Arts Academy, 3807 Woodlawn Road, Sterling, IL, brings two productions of “The Nutcracker” ballet, featuring Sauk Valley area dancers, ranging in age from six through adult. Four Morrison, IL, dancers include Annabelle Blevins, Daily Damhoff, Mikadyn Jakubs as “Clara,” and Marissa Wadsworth.
The production time, including intermission, is about 1.5 hours, making this holiday story-set-to-music suitable for young children.
Performances will be onstage at Centennial Auditorium, Sterling High School, 1608 4th Avenue, Sterling:
- Saturday, November 19, 2016, at 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday, November 20, at 2:00 p.m.
