October 25 Sheriff’s Office Report

On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a citizen reported an unmarked, dark in color vehicle, with red and blue interior lights made a traffic stop on their vehicle on Route 84 near Route 30 near Fulton, IL.  It was reported to the Sheriff’s Office, a male subject approached on the driver’s side and shined a flashlight into the eyes of the driver, making it hard to see the subject.  The reporting person stated they did not think this stop was right and told the male they wanted to see a badge.  The male subject went back to the vehicle and took off.  Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone with any information or knowledge of this to call 815-772-4044 or Crime Stoppers at 815-625-7867.
