Helen M. Mitchell, 99, died Monday, October, 10, 2016, at Resthave Nursing Home in Morrison, IL.
Helen was born June 27, 1917, in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Herman and Katherine (Deets) Peugh. She married Francis Mitchell on January 22, 1962, in Sterling. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1977.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Betty Peugh of Morrison; several nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers Rex Peugh and Russell Peugh; sister-in-law, Mary Helen Peugh.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to services at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling, IL.
Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, IL.
A memorial has been established.
