On 9/12/16 at about 7:34 a.m., Whiteside County Deputies responded to a three-vehicle crash on U. S. Route 30 near Carroll Road, Morrison, IL. Investigation revealed a 2011 Kenworth semi, driven by Michael J. Wetzell, 39, of Tampico, IL, was traveling westbound, slowing to turn into a private driveway, when he was struck from behind by a 2000 Geo Tracker, driven by Ariana E. Tiemann, 22, of Morrison, IL. Tieman’s disabled vehicle continued into the oncoming lane and struck an eastbound Scenic Stage Lines School Bus, driven by Bridget E. Redington-Overbeck, 47, of Prophetstown, IL. Tiemann was transported to Mercy North Hospital by MCH Ambulance for injuries. She was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
