Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, August 26, 2016.
Arrests: On Thursday, September 1, 2016, Eddie L. Douglas, Jr., age 19 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested by a Whiteside County Deputy Sheriff, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Douglas with Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault (Victim Under the Age of 13), Class X Felony. The warrant is the result of an investigation being conducted by Morrison Police Department and the Whiteside County State’s Attorney’s Office. Douglas was transported to the Whiteside County Jail in lieu of bail in the amount of $250,000.
