Evelyn D. Russell, 77, of Sterling, and Morrison, IL, died Saturday August 27, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Dixon, IL.
Evelyn was born December 20, 1938, the daughter of Virgil and Grace Pascel Mulnix. She married Ronald Russell on April 12, 1968. She was employed at G. E. in Morrison for many years, prior to retirement.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald of Morrison; two daughters, Cindy (Paul) Mierzwa of Dixon, and Dawn McKinney; one grandson, Jedediah (Jennifer) Frederick and two great-grandchildren, Holley and Hunter Frederick; two brothers, Donald Mulnix of Morrison and Richard Mulnix of Sterling; one sister, Joyce Peterson of Morrison.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Mulnix.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling, IL.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling, IL, with Reverend Ken Zuithoff, officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling, IL.
A memorial has been established.
