The Cub Scout “Raingutter Regatta” will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at French Creek Park, next to the parking lot off IL Highway 78, in Morrison, IL. Children will be provided materials to make their own small sailboats. They will then race on a water-filled track.
The event is free and open to all boys in grades 1-through-5 and their families. Siblings are welcome to participate.
Registration is not required. We will have a sign-up sheet for boys who wish to learn more about joining Cub Scouts.
We welcome anybody who wishes to watch and cheer on the children to attend. Show your support for Morrison Cub Scouts.
