Gayle S. Schmidt, 62, of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison, IL.
Gayle was born June 26, 1954, in Morrison, the daughter of Faye C. and Norma L. (Robison) Groharing. She worked in Dietary at the Morrison Community Hospital, Morrison, for a few years.
Survivors include her son, Corey (Michelle) Schmidt of Stitzer, WI; three grandchildren, Brianna, Robert “Bobby” and Bradley Schmidt; a sister, Glenda (Donald) Ottens of Fairhaven, IL; a brother, Gary Groharing of Naperville, IL.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 22, 2016, at McDonald Funeral Home, Fulton, IL.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 22, 2016, in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, IL, with Reverend Edie Lenz officiating.
