August 14 Sheriff’s Office Report

These arrests are merely a charge, and persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

7-29-16 at 10:08 p.m.  BrynR. White, age 32 of Dolton, IL, was arrested for speeding 83/55,OperatingUninsured Vehicle, Driving While License Suspended, State Civil CitationforPossession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Whiteside County Warrant forFailing to Appearon the charge of Driving While License Suspended, following a trafficstop at U. S.Route 30 and Lyndon Road.  He was unableto post bond and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

8-01-16 at 5:55 p.m.  JonathanD. Ruggles, age 23 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for DUI Drugs after his
vehicle wasstopped at U. S. Route 30 and Emerson Road.  Jonathan was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and released on a Noticeto Appear.

8-03-16 at 1:49 p.m.   Jeremy L. Nunley, age 39 of Lyndon, IL, was stopped on Moline atFargo Road west of Erie, IL, for speeding.  Hewas cited for Speeding 79/55 MPH and expired registration sticker.

8-04-16 at 9:14 p.m.  Sallie L. Buyno, age 69 of Prophetstown, IL, was stopped on ILRoute 40 south of Rock Falls, IL, for speeding. She was arrested for Speeding 71/55 MPH and Failure to Properly SecureChild under 8.

8-08-16 at 12:35 p.m.  Dustin E. Tunk, age 20 of Winfield, IL, was stoppedon IL Route 40 south of Rock Falls, IL, for speeding.  He was arrested forSpeeding 93/55 MPH aswell as Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. His driver’s license was posted as bond.

8-09-16 at 7:44 a.m.  Mary E. McDonnell, age 50, was arrested by Deputies followingthe investigation of a domestic battery incident in rural Fulton, IL, where amaleparamour was struck and injured, when Mary backed into him with hervehicle onAugust 3, 2016.  Mary was taken intocustody and arrested for Aggravated Domestic Battery as well asAggravatedBattery.  She was remanded to theWhiteside County Jail on the felony charges.

8-12-16 at 3:22 p.m.  Whiteside CountyDeputies arrested Brett R. L. Frain,age 22 of Prophetstown, IL, for a Failure to Appear on a warrant for Disorderlyconduct.  Frain was transported to theWhiteside County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond. Prophetstown Police assisted on scene.

8-13-16 at 6:21 a.m.  Whiteside CountyDeputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Spring Hill Road near
Prophetstown, IL.  Upon furtherinvestigation, Dallas C. Housley,age 37 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for two counts of Driving Under theInfluence of Alcohol and Drugs.  Housleywas transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed andreleased with a Notice to Appear.  R andK Towing assisted on scene.

8-13-16at 12:30 p.m.  Melero Mariana, age20 of Beryn, IL, was issued a State citation for Speeding 96 in a 70 on Interstate88 near mile post 22, a Statecivil citation for Possession of Cannabis, and a State civil citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

8-13-16 at 2:40 p.m.  Robert K. Rape, Jr., age 36 of Saint Charles, IL, wasstopped for speeding on Interstate 88 at milemarker 37.  He was arrestedfor Speeding 85/70 MPH andFailure to Properly Secure Child under 16 Years of Age.  He was bondedon scene.

8-14-16 at 8:40 a.m.  Kayla M. Slusser, age 18 of Sterling, IL, was arrested on anoutstanding Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Appear – Leaving theSceneof an Accident.  She posted the requiredbond without incident.

8-14-16 at 10:13 a.m.  Whiteside CountySheriff’s Office, Rock Falls Fire, CGH Ambulance, and Illinois StatePoliceresponded to a single-vehicle, roll-over crash on Melvin Road just northof U. S.Route 30.  Maya E. Miller, age 18 of Sterling, IL, indicated she wasdistracted byan object in her vehicle and missed the curve, causing her vehicle to slidethrough the ditch.  It then impacted afield entrance, became airborne, and then landed on its side.  Maya refused medical treatment on scene andwas issued a citation for Improper Lane Usage.  Williams’ Towing also assisted on scene.
