On Sunday, August 21, 2016, at 6:00 p.m., The Assemblymen will be in concert at Spring Valley Reformed Church, 10960 Spring Valley Road, Fulton, IL. They are from the Rockford, IL, area and have been performing at many different venues for 25 years.
Throughout this time they have recorded many CD’s. They like to call their music Solid Gospel, a more Gaither Homecoming style. Their goal is to reach the unchurched.
Members are Gary Shull, David Nelson, Paul Nelson, John Tallacksen, and Richard Kluck.
You can enjoy the concert from your car or bring a lawn chair. The concert will be held outdoors but will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather. A lover offering will be taken.
