Senior Business Relationship Manager Amy Viering noted the bank has hosted Customer Appreciation events for many years.  “We have community people [attend], too.  People sit and talk with groups.  There were lots of carry-out meals, and businesses came in.”

“It was a nice turnout,” added one of the grillers.  “Between 11:00 and 11:30, there was a lot of people here; there wasn’t a chair open.”

Four hundred brats and 150 hot dogs were cooked, served, and eaten by attendees.  A choice of chips, pop, cupcakes, and ice cream accompanied the sandwich.  Promotional items include coozies, lid openers, chip clips, and pens.

Renkes said Morrison High School Cheerleaders were an asset at the sweets table and “really hard workers, too.”  They served chocolate and vanilla ice cream cups and cupcakes and soda.  Shown (alphabetically) are Freshman Shanna Hudson, Sophomore Megan Muur, Freshman Erin Nichols, Sophomore Cassie Osborn, Senior Courtney Stearnes, Meghan Sternberg, and Senior Maya Zinke.
