Beauty Hutch is the only Morrison business that offers Fake Bake spray tanning “for men, women, and youth ages 14 and older.”

Color application takes less than 30 minutes, using a fine, cooling mist from an airbrush.  Having someone spray you is easy and results in an even application of the product.  Lotions and creams that must be rubbed in are messy, time-consuming, and not able to address hard-to-reach areas–like the back of the body.  Because it is quick and dries quickly, Fake Bake spray tanning is less likely to get on your clothes, bed linens, etc.

“It’s a special occasion kind of thing,” stated Polson, because the coloring “lasts five-to-seven days, depending on how often you shower.”  She and Wiersema agree it is a perfect treatment prior to weddings, reunions, trips to sunny locals, holiday gatherings, upcoming job interviews, graduation photos–all occasions when people want to look their best and feel confident.  Spray tanning can hide blemishes and light scars, too.

Polson added, “The process is safe for the skin, but this coloring does not protect against the sun.  People can still get a burn,” so sunscreen is advised.

Before and after photos indicate one look.  Depth of color can be discussed with Polson and Wiersema.
