Betty Ligons, age 77, died Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, Iowa.
Betty was born on May 31, 1939 in Morris, IL, the daughter of Alfred and Dorthey (Hoffmann) Jensen. She was employed as a Cable Former with Western Electric in Montgomery, IL, for 30 years and retired in 1994.
Survivors include one son, David (Sue) Ligons of Morrison, IL; two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2016, at the McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton, IL.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Evergreen Cemetery in Morris, IL, with Reverend Jim Jensen officiating.
