7-2-16 at 12:51 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to an underage drinking party 30607 Plautz Road in Rock Falls, IL. Upon further investigation, Braydon J. Delgado, age 18 of Sterling, IL, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis Less than 2.5 Grams and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Fifteen- and 16-year old Sterling Juveniles were arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. Cade A. Coursey, age 19 of Sterling, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor and Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer. Stephanie M. Binkley, age 20 of Dixon, IL, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. Logan A. Wharff, age 20 of Sterling, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. Mariah J. Staebell, age 19 of Rock Falls, was arrested for Possession of Alcohol by a Minor. James T. Nelson, age 20 of Sterling, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor. Brooke M. Williams, age 19 of Sterling, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor. Paige L. Ruthart, age 18 of Clinton, IA, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor. James R. Schott, age 20 of Dixon, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor. The incident remains under investigation, with further charges pending for a 16-year old Juvenile of Sterling for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor, Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis Less than 2.5 Grams; Andrew M. Kobbeman, age 20 of Rock Falls, for Violation of the Illinois Liquor Control Act–Hosting; Javier O. Quiroz, age 19 of Sterling, for Obstructing Identification; Cayden V. Erickson, age 19 of Rock Falls, for Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis Less than 2.5 Grams. The Illinois State Police and the Rock Falls Police Department assisted on scene.
7-4-16 at 12:29 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Sterling, IL, area. Upon further investigation, Xzavier D. Parker, age 24 of Wisconsin, was arrested for an active Ogle County Warrant for Speeding, as well as an active Lee County Warrant for Retail Theft. Michael T. Jackson, age 20 of Rockford, IL, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis 2.5 to 10 Grams, as well as Unlawful Possession of Alcohol by a Minor. Parker and Jackson were transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where Parker was held in lieu of bond, and Jackson was released with a Notice to Appear. Sterling Police Department, Illinois State Police, and Slim-N-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.
7-10-16 at 2:01 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Rock Falls, IL, area. Upon further investigation, Zachery J. McGee, age 22 of Sterling, IL, was arrested for two active Whiteside County Warrants, for Failure to Appear Speeding and Failure to Appear Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. McGee was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond.
7-10-16 at 7:32 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Sterling, IL, area. Upon further investigation, Israel A. Lopez, age 52 of Sterling, was arrested for an active Ogle County Warrant for Domestic Battery. Lopez was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond. 7-11-16 at 11:03 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies responded to an underage drinking party at 2900 W. Science Ridge Road in Sterling, IL. Upon further investigation, Amanda S. Tokarz, age 20 of Dixon, IL, Gianna M. Mancera, age 18 of Sterling, Andrew V. Garcia, age 18 of Sterling, Christian D. Nieto, age 19 of Sterling, and a 16-year-old Juvenile were arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. All were released on scene with a Notice to Appear. The Illinois State Police and the Sterling Police Department assisted on scene.
7-15-16 at 9:37 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in Sterling, IL. Upon further investigation, Morgan A. Lawler, age 18 of Oregon, IL, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Lawler was transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, where she was processed and released with a Notice to Appear. Sterling Police Department and Slim-N-Hank’s Towing assisted on scene.
7-16-16 at 8:24 p.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Rock Falls, IL, area. Upon further investigation, Marty L. McCarty, age 51 of Rock Falls, was arrested for Expired Registration, Defective Exhaust, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. McCarty was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where he was processed and released with a Notice to Appear. Williams Towing assisted on scene.
7-16-16 at 1:53 a.m. Whiteside County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Sterling, IL, area. Upon further investigation, Jailyn J. Borum, age 18 of Sterling, and Rashel V. Robinson, age 18 of Sterling, were arrested for Unlawful Possession of Alcohol by a Minor. Both were transported to the Whiteside County Jail, where they were processed and released on a Notice to Appear.
07-20-16 at 11:05 a.m. Janaine A. Kraciun, age 52 of Clinton, IA, was arrested for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid Accident and DUI. She was involved in a minor crash at Madison and U. S. Route 30 in Morrison, IL, when she rear-ended another vehicle. Kraciun was released on bond, pending results from the Illinois State Crime Lab.
07-20-16 at 4:54 p.m. Tiffany J. Canty, age 29 of Chicago, IL, was stopped for speeding 73/55 MPH on U. S. Route 30 near Emerson Road. She was arrested for the speeding offense as well as Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
07-21-16 at 8:15 p.m. Cody J. Housenga, age 27 of Rock Falls, IL, was arrested for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, following at traffic stop on Interstate 88 at milepost 26 for speeding.
07-21-16 at 8:47 p.m. Alexsandra D. Rios, age 20 of Sterling, IL, was arrested for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, following a traffic stop on Interstate 88 at milepost 26 for speeding.
07-21-16 at 10:24 p.m. Kyle A. Carr, age 22 of Albany, IL, was arrested for speeding 92/55 MPH on Garden Plain Road, rural Fulton, IL. His Illinois Driver’s License was posted as bond.
07-21-16 at 11:00 p.m. Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office was called to assist Albany Police, where Gunner S. Decker, age 21 of Fulton, IL, was arrested for Aggravated Battery–Peace Officer, Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer, and Criminal Damage to Government Supported Property. Decker was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail on the felony charges.
