Spring Valley Reformed Church, 15440 Spring Valley Road, Fulton, IL, will host two concerts this weekend. Also, the church will be recognizing farmers. We invite you to bring or drive your tractor to both events. Please arrive with tractor about an hour before the programs.
All ages are welcome to attend. Enjoy concerts from your car, or bring a lawn chair to sit near the stage. In case of inclement weather, concerts will moved indoors to our air-conditioned sanctuary.
On Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 6:00 p.m., Zach and Rodney Ministries will be in concert. Zach and Rodney not only share their music career but also share family as brothers-in-law. The duo makes their home in Trinity, NC.
Rodney’s story started with being in trouble with the law. He was sentenced to community service at a church, with the condition of attending Sunday School. His life has been changed since.
Rodney stated, “We take life-changing moments and create life-changing music.” Their music is “modern country and traditional country, combined in a unique blend and style all our own.” The passion that they carry to touch people with music will encourage those who are discouraged, reach the lost and hurting, and inspire those searching for purpose. On Sunday, June 26, at 6:00 p.m., Hearts of Faith duet will be in concert. Growing up in a Christian home, sisters Brenda and Donna have always been a part of church. Their mom had sung in the church’s ladies trio, so they have always loved Gospel music.
From 1982 to 2001, they sang with their parents, then known as The Gospel Foundation. When their parents retired in 2001, the duo felt the call to continue with the ministry and completed their first recording in 2004. They have been singing and ministering to audiences since.
