Attention, hunters. Whiteside County Soil and Water Conservation District has a rifle raffle to consider. The rifle was donated by a private donor. It can be viewed at Exner’s Sportsman’s Paradise, 101 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL.

This is a Savage Model 10/110 Trophy Hunter XP Package, .30-06 Springfield. The rifle is 22 inches long with a blued barrel, wood stock, and four-round capacity. It includes a Nikon 3-9x40mm rifle scope.
Tickets will be sold at

Sales are in progress: one for $10 or three for $25. The raffle will end this summer, when the 300 tickets have been sold.
