Extra Strength Ebenezer is helping sponsor the Luminaria Ceremony, which is part of the Whiteside County Relay for Life. The event takes place on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Hinders Field, 500 15th Avenue, in Rock Falls, IL. It runs from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m., with the Luminaria Ceremony scheduled for 9:30.
During the ceremony hundreds of luminaria will light the walkers’ pathway, making hope shine brightly. Luminaria can be purchased in honor of a survivor or in memory of someone who has lost their battle to cancer. The luminaria donation is $10. It is tax deductible. Make checks payable to the American Cancer Society.
Members of Ebenezer Reformed Church will find luminaria forms in their bulletins each Sunday leading up to the event.
