Morrison High School Varsity Basketball Coach Dave Peugh is offering “MHS Boys Basketball Camp” for boys that are of the age of entering third through 12th grade, during the 2016-2017 school year. All instruction will take place at Morrison High School gymnasium, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison, IL. Camp starts Tuesday, May 31, and runs through Friday, June 3, 2016.
Boys will be under the instruction of Peugh and the Varsity Basketball team, who will teach the “Mustang Way” of playing basketball. Campers will be introduced to the basic fundamentals of successful basketball. Concentration will be on shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding, and defending, as well as team play.
Individual and team competitions will take place, and prizes will be awarded. All players need to bring basketball shoes and a water bottle.
- The 3nd and 4th graders will meet from 8:00 to 9:15 a.m.
- The 5th and 6th graders will meet from 9:30 to 10:45.
- The 7th and 8th graders will meet from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- The 9th through 12th graders will meet from 1:30 to 2:45.
A $30 fee includes a t-shirt and instruction for the four day camp.
