In game two of the Saturday, May 7, 2016, Marengo Tournament, the Morrison Fillies gave opportunities to the Batavia Lady Bulldogs. Morrison paid the price each time as they absorbed an 11-0 loss.
Unable to generate any offense and held to two hits, the Fillies allowed the Lady Bulldogs on the scoreboard in the third inning, when they scored eight runs. The runs were initiated with four base-on-balls and two errors, followed with a grand slam home run. Three more runs were recorded on a three-run homer in the fourth inning. That ended the game on the ten rule.
