Once again it is time to “Help Stamp Out Hunger.” The Nationwide Annual Letter Carrier Food Drive will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016. Place your donations by your mailbox by 9:00 a.m., so your City or rural carrier or a volunteer helper can pick up the items. Please donate even if you will be away from home that morning.
The 9:00 deadline is important, because the volunteers can get around to more houses. In addition, carriers won’t have to carry the extra weight of food items in their mail bags.
Donations will be delivered to the Morrison Friends Food Pantry. Items most needed are non-perishable food; cleaning/laundry supplies; personal grooming/hygiene products; disposable diapers.
