Betty J. Riley, age 82, died Monday, April 18, 2016, at her home.
Betty was born August 23, 1933, in Morrison, IL, the daughter of William and Ida (Smith) Birley. She married Ray Riley on July 17, 1954, in Morrison. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2012. She was a homemaker. Betty was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
Survivors include five Godchildren, Betty Kracht of Low Moor, IA, Jackie (Randy) Gerlach of Morrison, Joseph Jackson of Clinton, IA, Lynn Wright of Indianapolis, IN, and Anna Kracht of Low Moor; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters, Virginia Allen and Nancy Ann Birley; six brothers, William, John, David, James, Robert, and Gordon Birley.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 20, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at McDonald Funeral Home, 1601 16th Avenue, Fulton, IL.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 21, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Myles Kukowski of Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls, IL, officiating.
Burial will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, IL.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
