Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Thursday, March 31, 2016.
Arrests: On Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Cory R. Nylin, age 35 of Clinton, IA, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Nylin with Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding. The arrest occurred outside the Odell Public Library in Morrison, IL. During the arrest, Nylin escaped from Morrison Police and ran away on foot. After a short pursuit, Morrison Police apprehended Nylin. Nylin was also charged with Escape (Felony) and was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
